Welcome to Whitworth Playgroup......

We are a small registered charity operating in the village of whitworth in the picturesque Rossendale Valley who hope to in spire all our children to develop a passion for learning. 

​

we offer places to children from age 2 up to starting school and accept both fee paying and funded children.  

​

Starting out as a parent and toddler group over 40 years ago, we have worked hard to transform ourselves into a good ofsted registered pre-school with close links to our local primary schools and an excellent reputation within the community.

we are based in the building of Hallfold united reformed church, a beautiful stone building, full of character, which was originally built as a day school in the early 1800's, keeping us in the heart of our community.
